PURE ROMANCE – Brand Workshops + Internal Merchandise Collections + More

Pure Romance was one of the original reasons I was brought on to the Touchstone team. Pure Romance was one of our regular clients and our creative team included only men at the time. They appreciated my previous Gillette work, understanding how that dynamic was sort of flipped for me (team of women presenting mens' shave care to a room of men).

 

The goal was to help ideate and brand for the sexual wellness space (through Concept to Consumer) appropriately and on trend, but also apply that to their apparel and general merchandise (mostly for representatives to shop).

 

After a few months of designing and helping direct collections, I was asked if I could pick up a side role also Merchandising so it would be more seamless, effectively absorbing that role. How my title became "Senior Designer + Merchandiser."

 

I continued to own this account throughout my time at Touchstone, and really learn the ins and outs of the company, but also learn my trade through them. Even worked a couple trade shows, getting to sell all the merchandise collections I designed and get feedback in real time.
